Christmas 2010

I been off since Friday and today is Tuesday. Yea!!!  First Christmas fell on a Saturday this year so I got Friday off then there was a serious Blizzard on Sunday that was so bad I'm still off on Tuesday giggle giggle. Christmas was very nice this year. We had no major WOW presents like last year with Jessica's car but it was still very fun. After we opened up our presents my Mom came over then the Bopps and all the Homeys from next door. We all had a nice mellow Christmas. Then the snow came and it was really coming down hard I bet we got 2 feet I don't think I'm exaggerating it was quite a lot of snow. You can see all the picture at these three links

Popped up out of dated place

Saturday morning me and Jessica took out the dogs for a walk. I think taking the dogs for a walk is like therapy for me. I just enjoy wasting a few hours of just making Heidi happy and not worry about anything that is on my schedule.
Sunday was a early morning dirt bike ride. We planned to go out at 8am and look around for a different loop which eight being a little early for everyone but it seemed to work out good. When we returned at 11:30-12:00 you still felt like the day was not over and you could still take advantage of the many hours of daylight left. Took some fun pictures

FIRE

Jack and Patty's house burnt up on the early morning hours of Tueday 12 /7/ 2010. It's a sad time I'm not sure how the fire started so I won't speculate but it appeared to of travel into the attic where it waited until it had a arsenal of oxygen and fuel. When it was fully loaded is when it attached and almost took three loved family members one being the youngest away from us. That is about all I know other then it was a accidental fire and everyone got out alive. Except the two little dogs.

Jack was air lifted to Temple university where he was treated for smoke inhalation. He was released the next day and when I talked to him he sounded well and ready to tackle the long road ahead.  I can tell you one thing I learned. When the smoke detectors goes off that is not the start of the fire. When you are awaken by that screech you run for your lives because you might only have seconds or it might be to late. Click here for the pictues that Shawn took and some I took off the the news article.

Turkey Day at the Boyle House

Another successful Turkey day. Thank you to my wife and all the Turkey elves that helped cook a wonderful dinner once again. This is easily my favorite holiday of all.  Let's just say this is the one day a year that men get to be men in my pathetic house where my wife rules the roost. The high lite in my book was when Matt challenged Johnathan to a pool game and they bet shirts. Matt won and I thought the two drunk dudes were going to go to blows when Johnathan reneged on giving Matt his seriously bright ass orange shirt.
That's the world famous orange shirt
