The Go Pro

Dan bought a Go Pro video camera and this is the first movie we made with it. He shoveled snow for weeks and saved enough money I'm proud of him. OK check out all the snow it snowed again on Tuesday after the big snow storm I wrote about on the last entry. Not just flurries either like another 15 inches. The big snow

Holy Cow we got some snow this weekend. I bet all in all no lying about 16 inches. We played in this stuff all day. It started snowing late Friday when we got up Saturday it was on. We pulled sleds all day on the minibike. We had a blast all day until it stopped snowing around 7 at night. Then I shoveled the driveway and had a good time drinking on the tailgate watching Dan and his friend Billy shovel Larry's drive way. Then it was over to Mat's for more beers. I have got to get a heated garage. Sunday we went sleigh riding at Devil's hill it was just a fun weekend you have to have fun when the opportunity arises. Snow storms that big only happen once in awhile.

Fun Filled Weekend

What a cool weekend first we went to the motorcycle show in NYC. Rod, Mat ,Dan and I rode up and met Tony and Nancy. We were the first 20 people in line and that's the way I like it. Get there and check out the bikes that you want to look at before the place gets absolutely mobbed. Then Rod, Dan, Mat and I went to the Empire State Building. The whole trip was fun, the taxi ride the walk back to the ferry when we stopped in Time Square . Just walking in NY is always a blast.
Sunday was all about the ride. Dan, Rod Tony and I went out at 12:00. Tony had mechanical issues and had to call it early. Other then that we had a great ride. We were having a blast and stayed out there as long as we could before getting low on gas. Then I topped it off by watching supercross on the Telly.

A Walk with the Dogs

Went for a walk with all 3 dogs, and Jessica, Dan, Amanda, and A.J. Ya know you really don't have to spend money to have fun. We played on a hill and a frozen puddle and totally had a blast.

Christmas

Christmas was fun this year. We bought Jessica a car so that was exciting. It's a 1996 Honda Civic with 96000 miles. She doesn't get her permit for a couple of months but it was a good car so me and Sherrie bought it for her. I guess the funny part of the story is I wrapped them in the usual way of one box in another in another you get the idea. Then we realized we needed to move the car into the driveway on Christmas eve and had no spare keys.

I take a lot of photos but this one with Jessica finally getting to the keys in her Xmas present was priceless.

You ask what did Danny got? Scroll down until you get to the October entry in this blog. He just got a new Motorcycle in October he wasn't getting crap :) OK we got him stuff but nothing worth writing about.

Snow Day

Had a great day on Saturday 12-19-2009. We had a big snow storm like almost (2) two feet of snow. Me and the kids where out there pulling the sled around with the Minibike all day Saturday during the storm. It snowed till Sunday morning but Sunday was clean up day. Saturday was fun day. Actually now I read this Sunday was kind of fun also.

Sunday after Thanksgiving ride

Me and Dan went out by ourselves. Everyone else is broke down or they wet quad on us. It was a cool ride at one point I feel what I thought was Dan's handle bar poking me in my fat roll. Then it happens again and I realize he's riding next to me poking me. Well this starts a game of motorcycle tag. That was fun but Dan mentioned that we are going to kill ourselves so we quit........ (For now) Ow yea got the YZ back together and she's running great. I love that bike a 1989 yz 125.

Thanksgiving

Wow I love thanksgiving. Sherrie and all who helped in the kitchen did a great job again serving a fantastic man meal. We had 20 people at the dinner table and it was a great fun day. We ate like the kings we are then went down stairs to drink, shoot pool and gamble.Ow and lets not forget to also talk shit, joke and laugh till wee hours into the morning. Where's Sherrie in the table pictures???? I bet she's drinking wine some where. :)

Out for a ride with Dan,Rod and Me. Went To Zarcos it was real cool to do something a little different. We got way lost on the way home. I was laughing telling Dan and Rod "It's New Jersey for Goodness sake it's not like were going to die out here". We drove on the road till we found our way. Dan got a kick out of riding on the road.

Dirt ride on the street bikes

Great ride Rod Mat and myself.I texted these guys early in the morning to see if they wanted to go for a early morning ride. I forgot I was dealing with 3rd shift Mat and That's to bloody early for me Rod. So we hooked up at 11 or so and meet Rod later in Chatsworth. This ride was a lot of fun some nice twisties back behind the State forests and then we did some dirt riding back around Harry Wright lake. Kind of fun on the street bikes. All bikes are dirt bikes just some work better then other on that terrain Check out the 4 miles of dirt we did on the street bikes

Out riding just me and Dan

Me and Dan went out riding today. The first lap was exciting I felt wise and full of trickery. We where passing each other I was holding my own. knowing all the short cuts the best line. It was a brawl of men and their machines. Lap two I just felt old and tired happy just to keep the beast on two wheels and luck to keep the kid insight let alone a pass. Hey but did I tell you about lap one.:)

I don't think I did crap on Saturday. But I made up for it Sunday. Got up early and went riding with Dan, Tony, and Kenny. Dan's first real ride on the new 150R and he was kicking it pretty good. You'll see one picture where I'm all muddy. I was following Dan and I was pushing it a little hard and wiped out in a puddle. All was good no injuries. Then we rushed home and went to Seaside to watch Jessica march in the Parade. Kids are growing up fast.

Hey check out this video. Dan is riding by on the Honda 50 and we're shooting at him with this plastic gun that shoots these little plastic BB's. It's call an air soft gun. These things hurt, I would compare it to a Bee sting. It hurts like hell at first then the pain subsides in 30 seconds or so.
Dans friend Dane wanted to ride the 50 but I wouldn't let him. Can you imagine this kids parent taking me to court because I told him to ride a motorcycle down the road while we shot at him and he crashes. Some how I don't think normal America would find this activity as entertaining as the Boyle's.

09/13/09 Riding

Went riding Saturday with Tony and Dan it was a good ride nothing out of the ordinary

. Dan had a race on Sunday he crashed then the bike broke. I can say we had better races. Yet again looking on the bright side we had worse.

AMA RACES AT MILLVILLE

Me and Dan went down to Millville NJ to check out the new track.We meet Keith and one of his friends and his friend's daughter. Later Keiths wife and son showed up. The AMA was racing for the first time at Millville and I been wanting to check that new track out. Me and Dan got up early Saturday Morning and rode down. Dan is not the usual kid who thinks it's great to be on the back of Dads bike. He's thinking shit, I have to ride Bitch. I can't wait to get my licences. But, I tried to entertain him the best I could. We took a bunch of back rodes and hit triple digits a couple of times for amusement purposes.

The races where good and it was a fun time. We rode the go carts they have down there and that was a blast. Saturday we crashed at Keith's camper and got up and watched races all day Sunday. Matt, Kenny and Matt's Uncle showed up Sunday. So we all hung out joked with the rest of the spectators and had a blast watching motorcycle racing.

You can see the races better on TV that's for sure but, it's cool hanging out with people who like racing. I always feel like an outsider in other social venues because nobody I meet has similar interests. Then you go to the races and realize your not so different. Hell there's thousands of people who don't give a rats ass how the Yankees are doing. But, Did you see Rossi's Pass last week?

Fishing with Joe Canoeing with the girls

Great Weekend went fishing on Friday night with the boys. Joe and his two sons Jeff and Patrick and Me and Dan. I can't remember the last time I went out on a party boat but it was cool. Big fish caught by everyone. Hanging out with Joe is always fun. There are these two guys in the boat and Joe gets bull shitting with them they where two characters. We didn't get home till 4 am from that excursion then I went Canoeing with Jessica and her friend Amanda the next morning it was a blast. I think the girls are better in the canoes then the boys. Crash

So, There I was going down the trail. Out of the corner of my eye a Deer jumps out scaring the crap out of me. I don't know what I was thinking but after the deer passes in front of me I wheelie maybe to show the deers I'm not scared of them. Hell I'm a dam Carnivore why should I be afraid. You eat berries for gods sake. This is about the time it gets ugly. Slowly but as surely as a deer shits in the woods I'm about to flip this bike. I know, I know, give it a little back brake and it will bring the front end down. Hell by this time I'm going over and holding on for where ever this is going to bring me. I flip and I'm holding on to the handlebars as I'm sliding down the trail on my side I'm causally thinking, "hell this isn't going to be bad". I'm just sliding in the soft dirt with the bike is in front of me. Just ride this slide out stand up brush yourself off and all should be great. Right? Hell no! Little do I know, Tony is right behind me panicking like a teenage girl with a forehead Zit. All I feel is pain threw out the top half of my torso as Tony runs my fat as over. Then it's bikes and old men in every direction possible. So Tony and Me come to rest practically side by side laying on our backs. All I hear at this point is Tony managing to spit out of his dust caked lips, "Can You Move"? Can I move? Can I move? No, Tony I can't move but don't worry my air bags have been deployed and my On star navigation unit has notified the proper authorities. Really, it was a crack up. flipping, sliding, having your buddie run ya over.  All in a good days ride

Great Ride as we always say, "If it doen't end in a helicopter ride it was a good day".

The Smokey's

The Man trip down to the Smokey's was a blast. Tony and Myself trailered the motorcycles this time. The first time my bike was trailered. We left after work on Friday and arrived at the cabin at 8 or 9 am. Took a quick nap and went out for a ride. While talking that night we both kind of felt that we where a little off. Gee I wonder why? Up all night and then riding the most twistiest road in the country. Otherwise the trip went good we even took a roll down to a museum called Wheels of Time. That just happened to be open the weekend we where there. Any way check out the pics and the video located on the title ( THE SMOKEY'S)

Dylan's Down

Dylan came down to go riding so Rod Dan, Dylan, and Myself went out Friday at 12:oo. It was a great ride all the bikes ran good and no major problems for bikes or persons. You have got to check out the video's of dylan trying to go threw this swamp puddle we found. The title is the link

Family Vacation

Just got back from the 2009 family vacation rented a car and drove down to Florida. Went the long way, through sky line drive then to Atlanta to check out the new aquarium. It boosts the largest tank in the world and was very impressive.Then we went and just hung out in kissimee at my Brother Jack's time share.

Day 2 ( Sunday)drove about a hour to the aquarium checked that out then drove the rest of the way to kissimee.
Day 3 (Monday)Did absolutely nothing but chilled at the pool. Caught a couple Lizards. (A Dan and Dad family tradition)
Day 4 (Tuesday) Drove over to the Gulf of Mexico (Indian Rock) Swam in the water then went on one of those Dolphin sightseeing tours.
Day 5 (Wednesday) Went to Gator Land. Always a favorite thing to do for the Boyle's
Day 6 (Thursday) Kennedy Space center
Day 7 (Friday) Chilled out went to the pool then we all decided to leave at 3pm instead of the original plan to leave Saturday morning.
Arrived Home 12:30PM on Saturday afternoon.
Good vacation no yelling everyone got along great and the kids where great during the long miles
