Gambling

I went over Jeff Wishes house the other night and played cards with Jeff Wish , Jeff Stiles and Ronnie Bopp. We have been friends since the beginning and spent our youth growing up together as best pals. I truly love them 3 guys and enjoy getting together and laughing our asses off.

Motorcyclepedia

    Rod and myself went to our yearly trip to the motorcycle museum on Jan 11th of 2014. This is the second year we went and we had a great time just hanging out looking at the type of stuff we both enjoy checking out.
      We first went to the Orange County Chopper place and I must say that is a first class place. I'm not really a chopper guy but it was pretty cool. It had a bar,a bowling alley and a nice place to eat where we stopped for a little nibbley as Rod would say.

Then we rolled down the road about 2 miles or so to the motorcyclepedia museum where this guy Pit  Lengner does the wall of death show. You know where he rides up on the wall of a big wooden bowl

Then he did a ride on the smallest motorcycle I ever seen. He also asked for volenteers to ride one and that is how I got this great picture here 

Then we went out to lunch at this place on the Hudson river and just had a nice lunch and a beer. I like hanging out with my buddy Rod we always seem to get along very good and our trip are enjoyable. 

Dan came home for thanksgiving week

        Dan came home for the week of thanksgiving and we rode our motorcycle every chance we got. He's took off to North Dakota a few months ago to work. I'm very proud of my boy to pack up and leave home to go into the unknown. I left home when I was his age but the service during peace time is like going from a parent that loves you and will take of you to a parent that doesn't love you but will still take care of you. You know what I mean you still have that organization to feed you cloth you and keep you squared away? He left all on his own to a strange place I'm very proud of him.  Me and Dan went riding a few times but the special day was when we put a "Home with Dan Ride" together with all our riding friends. What a fun ride we had I'm so glad all the boys found time to go out with us. A really good group of guys they are. ALL THE PICTURES HERE

Thanksgiving

      Sherrie did a spectacular job feeding all us again this year. I have to say Karen came down with
Samantha and Dylan this year and that was great I love them. Karen and her children are truly great friends and I love them dearly.
     We ate and had a laugh or two no stories of getting drunk with the boys down in the basement after dinner this year but I'm getting to old for that shit. (LOL maybe next year)

Fishing

This is worth mentioning just because I got Sherrie out on the beach to watch the sunrise. I don't care I had to use fishing as a bait to get her up so early it doesn't

matter to me SHE WAS THERE I don't care how it happened.

A susscessful weekend

      Went to my Moms this Saturday and the truck wouldn't start when I went to leave. Oh Well shit happens Sherrie pulled up and we bumped started the truck and home I went. A couple hours later I had the Starter changed and was good to go. Sunday me and Sherrie hung out did some work in the back yard and then took Mason apple picking to score some apples for my favorite Holiday that's coming up THANKSGIVING.

Had a pretty cool weekend. I love riding in the woods with the boys. Saturday was spent putting heated hand grips on the KLR taking the dogs for a walk with my buddy Mason. (I love that boy) and running out to the bay to watch the sunset. Picture Here

Sunday oh the wonderful Sunday was spent Riding with Matt, Rod, Josh and myself. He had such a good time. I think the high lite was me taking pictures of Josh's fall over just to go down the trail 100 feet then I fell over and got stuck in the nasty smelly sticky mud. The only thing that could of made my day any better was if my son Dan was there. Wow I really miss hanging out with that boy. Him going off to work in North Dakota is good for him but I sure do miss Dan on days like Sunday. Here are the photo's on flicker.

I decided to post this today 11/8/2013

This is dated 11-12-2011 OK I found away to write stuff down and I don't have to publish it right away if at all.. Man this whole injury thing is really screwing with me. I really don't want to get this hurt again. I feel like I should maybe slow my ass down and maybe take up wood working again. All I have ever done in the last 10 years has really been based on motorcycles. Yea I love riding but I think I want to turn a different page in my life and not base my sole existences on riding, racing, motorcycle trips, and fixing bikes. Hell I'm not sure what's going on I'm just thinking about tuning the rev limiter down a notch. I have scheduled this to post in a year from now so let's see what type of writings we get for the next year Will I post a picture of a cabinet in my welcome page. For what ever reason it feels good to get this off my chest. Rock on jay hang in there and walk soon

   Got a bonus for x-mas spent over half on new furniture. To a normal person that might sound exactly what your suppose to do. Well it was a big step for me to spend extra money on other then motorcycle stuff.

      I'm street riding now and I do a lot of dreaming up road trips Crap maybe I'm not ready to give up my love of motorcycling.

    Still here rode the dirt bike for the first time the other day and yes the basement that would be my work space for wood working is still a shit whole.

     Bought a brand new dual sport bike the  other day. Yea I'm hopless

2013 Meteor Duel

       Meteor Duel Sport this weekend, It was Matt and myself then Keith met us down in the camp ground.   (After me and Matt chowed on some great steaks that my wife sent with us.)


    We chilled out Friday night and me and Matt drank to much till way late, Some of Keith friends came over for the Saturday morning ride. Demian which I have met and rode with on one other duel sport a very cool, nice person and the owner of Ryders Alley in NYC. Also with him was a very nice fellow Mr Pascal that seemed to be more at my pace then the younger guys. Saturday Matts bike broke and at some time we pealed off home to go get my KLR and Matt rode that for the remainder of the weekend. I was thinking I might have one up on him being on such a heavy machine, Yea, that lasted about 15 minutes till he started kicking my ass on the big KLR porker.
      We all hung out Saturday night and I won a helmet and a chest protector. Sunday was more fun and the ride and the laughs were many, All in all a great trip with minimal problems and good company. I really had a fun time getting away from the house for almost 3 full days, I hope you can see all the pictures here.

Fish On

Me and Sherrie went fishing again. Jeff wish called me up Friday and asked us if we would like to go on a party boat with him tomorrow. We all had a blast, It was fun again to fish with my wife but it was cool to hang out with my friend Jeff Wish.

We are having a little empty nest syndrome. Dan is off to North Dakota and Jessica isn't home much because she is one busy girl with college and work. So me and Sherrie took up fishing. We are really enjoying fishing and being friends.

Super Fish

Went fishing with Tyron and some of the guys from Centry today. Look at the size of this Cod. Me and James went it was fun not a lot of action but Look at that Cod.

Dan is leaving

This is the last weekend Dan is going to be home. He's headed to North Dakota to find himself. Jessica is vacationing in Puerto Rico so me and his Mom took him to Monmouth race track to bet on the ponies.

It's Sunday morning and I have already had a great Jay weekend. Went riding in the pine barrens Saturday morning.

Then I went Kayaking later on in the day. I really enjoy alone time I really do. 

Dan's Graduation Party

            This weekend was Dan's graduation Party. These parties are a lot of work and I can honestly say I'm glad it's over.
Everyone who was important to Dan showed up and some lovely family that we don't get to see enough was there also. It was a very successful party and it was the tail end of a five day heatwave in NJ so the heat was pretty bad but other then that all was good.

I been away from here

I don't know what happened but I been away from here for a awhile. I think it's because I went on my Man vacation on June 21st 2013 and there is so many pictures I can't organize them between the 3 guys taking picture I'm over whelmed with digital info. We went to the usawal Smokey mountain trip and it was OK. I think I need to do something else I think the Man trip has run it's coarse as they say.

When I look at the pictures it really was fun but, I think maybe I'm getting to old to find fun in running from the rain for a week. I'll post a link and some details about the trip later when I sorted through all the pictures.
